Exploring West Cornwall on two wheels...

Polmanter offers an excellent base for touring the beautiful coves and hills around St Ives.

There are some lovely quiet lanes to cycle and we have a selection of recommended routes both for regular bikes and electric bikes.

The most beautiful route to cycle is the coast road between St Ives, Zennor and St Just, but unless you are a very fit cyclist, this is recommended only for eBikes, which are available to hire from St Ives eBikes.

If you are planning on bringing regular bikes, then we recommend cycling the relatively flat route from Polmanter to the Hayle Estuary and the Golden sands of Gwithian.
